About Me
Hi there! Thanks for taking an interest in my blog and about me. I’m Gary, I’ve worked in marketing for over 20 years and during that time I’ve helped many businesses increase their CRO and grow their brands.
My background
I specialise in Lead Generation and conversion rate optimisation
I have worked in a number of agencies, in-house at large blue chip organisations and helped small to medium size businesses reach their potential.
I decided to become a full-time consultant 10 years ago as I no longer wanted to be stuck in one organisation, going through the motions and not doing fulfilling work.
Where my skills really shine
My role usually entails being the Marketing Manager where I’m responsible for setting out the strategies for the promotion of communications, sales and any outbound marketing.
I tend to be responsible for designing and maintaining the marketing strategy that supports a businesses services taking the full campaign lifecycle through it’s paces while developing high-quality marketing materials which support multiple live campaigns. It’s my goal to always ensure the campaigns perform at their maximum and ensure the best ROI possible.
I specialise in lead generation and enjoy working closely with key stakeholders who have the faith in their marketing team to make the right decisions and empower them with the tools required to complete the job.
Some facts about me
Away from work I enjoy travelling, coming from the USA it was always my goal to see Europe, The Middle East and Asia. I’ve backpacked across Europe seeing amazing countries like Italy, Spain, France, Germany and the UK and been as far as Oman in The Middle East. I truly believe to grow as a person you need to experience as much culture and new things as possible. I would advise anyone to try it, it’s not as scary as you think. Plus being able to work remotely it means my office can be anywhere in the world!
After I got travelling out of my system I returned to North Carolina to concentrate on work. With me being ever present at home I decided to get a dog called Barney, he’s a chocolate labrador and my best friend, I couldn’t imagine life without him.
I’m an Apple nerd, and you will always find me with the latest and greatest from them. I’m currently rocking the iPhone 12 Max, a 12.1″ iPad Pro and do most of my work on a Macbook Pro with the M1 chip.
